Do you remember The Great Turtle Race?

Do you remember The Great Turtle Race?

Leatherback turtles are ancient mariners that travel thousands of miles. In 2007 we followed ten critically endangered leatherbacks, each as much as six feet long, travel from a beautiful beach in Costa Rica into the vast Pacific to the Galápagos Islands and beyond.

Now leatherbacks are engaged in another race, a race for survival. Leatherbacks at Las Baulas National Marine Park are in great peril. Although the beach is secure in the Park, the turtles are still facing threats from fishing activity in the ocean. Please help us to protect them during their migrations at sea.
