For Funders and Partners

Conservation that endures is more than a saying. It's how we keep the species with us.

On the beach since 1988, and incorporated in 2000, we’ve spent decades monitoring nests, collecting data, and training the next generation of field biologists. Our history runs deep and our reach runs far, from hundreds of journal publications to seats on IUCN advisory boards, all while staying deeply rooted in Guanacaste’s community. We’re always looking for new pillars of support to keep this long-term work sustainable

Current funding priorities

Satellite tracking leatherbacks

Our leatherback satellite tracking program grows more advanced every year, revealing where these turtles go once they leave our beaches.

 Hatchery operations and nesting research

Every nesting season depends on a well-maintained hatchery. This is where the next generation of sea turtles gets its start.

Costa Rican conservation and education

We’re committed to educating the children of Guanacaste, providing classroom materials and hands-on experiences that build the region’s next conservationists.

Core operations

Our field station, research equipment, and vehicles are the backbone of everything we do. Core support keeps the daily work running.
