The field station
is the classroom

The Goldring-Gund Marine Biology Station hosts middle schools, high schools, and university groups from the US and Costa Rica for field-based learning programs. Students work alongside TLT researchers — on the beach, in the hatchery, and in the data.

We’re developing detailed information about our educational group programs, including age ranges, group sizes, visit length, and what students can expect during their time with us. Program experiences may include a combination of learning sessions, field activities, and opportunities to experience sea turtle conservation work firsthand.
